Formed in 1987, Modern Labelling Systems introduced to the self adhesive label market a level of service, commitment and variety of choice that has quickly established the company as a front-runner in the design and manufacture of quality self adhesive labels. MLS Labels is an indigenous Irish owned company.

The company is primarily involved in the manufacture of self adhesive labels for a variety of different markets. These include the following:

Price-Marking and Coding Labels
These are used by pharmacies, newsagents, some supermarkets and industry for a variety of applications such as pricing, coding, batch numbering, sell by and use by dates.

Pharmacy Labels
MLS supplies approximately 55% of the pharmacy market in Ireland. The principal product used for this market is pharmacy dispense labels which are placed on prescription medication giving the customer information on the use of the specific medicine. Our largest customer in this market is Boots the Chemist.

Price Weigh / Scales Labels
MLS supplies some of Ireland’s largest supermarket chains such as SuperValu, Centra, Mace, Gala, Londis with Price Weigh Labels. These are applied at the point of sale and provide the customer with information such as price per kilo, best before date and a barcode for scanning purposes at the checkout.

Bespoke General Labels for Food Industry Food Industry covers a very wide segment of customers such as bakeries, meat-packers, egg-packers to name but a few. The company provides an artwork and graphic service as well as the production of full process, multi-coloured labels finished to a very high standard. These labels are invariably bespoke and are produced to the customer and market specific requirements.

Thermal Printing Machines
The company supplies a variety of thermal printing machines for many of the above markets. Installation, training and after sales service is also provided.

MLS Labels has consistently grown and developed in all of the above markets and has heavily invested in the most up to date printing and converting machines to establish itself as a market leader in Ireland.

The company is now operating through six main departments, Sales, Design & Artwork, Production & Finishing, Customer Care, Thermal Printing Machines, and Accounts. Being a relatively small company has the advantage where our customers are known and dealt with on first name terms. This promotes excellent rapport and ensures that the client is always put to the fore and feels he (or she) has a reliable partner for all their labelling requirements. From artwork and design through to final finish labels we guide and promote the best possible result for our customers.

At this present time MLS Labels are the only labelling company supplying Irish business with such a diversity of labels and labelling products. Supplying both quality printed labels and also thermal printing machines provide the customer with a single supplier for all their labelling requirements as well as support and maintenance for their thermal printers.
